About Vanessa
I am an Artist and Product & Packaging Designer - 3D Structural & Graphics - with an Industrial Design Degree. My last job was working as a Toy Designer at Addo Play in London creating toys for children and also designing the packaging for all their products. I create new style guides, edit/animate promotional videos and also work with licences such as Nickelodeon or Mattel. At the same time as this, I work as an artist and illustrator and have been contacted by places such as the world-renowned Wellcome Collection Museum to illustrate one of the articles on their official website and Kew Gardens working as a conceptual and mural artist for 2 consecutive years in 2 different Orchid festivals at the Princess of Wales conservatory. I have also worked with Entertainment One (EOne) as a Graphic Designer and artist, doing a design for their new offices in Tottenham Court Road. Previously I’ve worked as a Packaging Designer at SQ Professional, a company specialising in kitchenware based in London that exports products across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. I was in charge of the graphic packaging design of the new products, retouching product photos, and creating modern and innovative packaging design. This was from November 2018 to May 2019. My previous jobs in the UK were working as a Freelance Conceptual Artist for Kew Gardens for The Orchid Festival. Freelance Graphic Designer for Kinnerton Confectionery, a company that creates products for M&S, Tesco, & for their own brands working with licences including Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig among others. My first job experience in the UK was as a Graphic Designer at Fastsigns, a company that produces visual communication products for different companies around the UK. I was in charge of all of the Graphic Design Projects for the UK clients. From 2009 to 2014 I was working in Colombia for international companies within the Design, Packaging & Toys markets. Two years as a Toy Designer for a Board Game Company working with licences including Sanrio, Disney, Nickelodeon. After that, I worked as a Packaging design and Moulds Production Manager at Pulpack Ltda., a company that produces moulded pulp packaging, working with suppliers from China, Germany and USA. I can bring these skills to the Design environment and use my knowledge of team management and the people skills I gained from my role as an Industrial Design manager to benefit the company and the brand. I am also an artist and have been working on my own projects in London and Europe. My creativity can bring ideas from a different perspective, culture and country. Between my 2 passions Art & Design I want to continue motivating people to work in what they love to do.

Good! Vanessa was really easy going and had knowledge in illustrator. I wanted to learn how to do specific tasks and she was happy to show me and made it easy for me to follow.
