About Lloyd
Once we make a decision to educate ourselves, we recognize that we don't have all of the answers, and we need more information. Over my journey on this lopsided rock, I have noted that my world is full of people who want to speak at great length about subjects that they don't fully understand, because they don't educate themselves about facts, or aren't aware of our blind spots. We all have them. When you work with me, I will challenge you to see them. I will challenge you to the depths of your understanding, in the fervent hope that we will rise to the challenge, and learn more about ourselves, our subject material, the facts, and that will be reflected in your work. I want my students to be more educated and energized when they are done with my services, so that they learn to teach themselves.

I don't have a one-size-fits-all lesson plan. I think they can be detrimental to the creative writing process. I work with my students to design a method with materials to meet each person's specific needs. Sometimes, we begin with the formulary basics, and sometimes we will jump into the existential deep end, but never without your water wing coach to catch you if you start floundering. I work hard to develop trust with my clients, and you can be assured of discretion and confidentiality. I think we all learn differently, and I want to meet people where they are, and figure out what their individual needs are before I attempt to fulfill them.
