About Atiya
Dear Students,
I am Dr. Atiya Masood, thrilled to be your instructor this term. I bring experience and a passion for teaching, research, and student success.
About Me
Educational Background: I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington, specializing in Machine Learning and Optimization. My academic journey includes a Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Statistics from Karachi University.
Professional Experience: Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor at Iqra University and lead the IEEE Climate AI Task Force. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have taught various courses in Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science across various levels. Additionally, I have been involved in numerous research projects, industry collaborations, and curriculum development initiatives.
