I met Paloma during our first year at university at one of our lab sessions. For the remaining 3 years of our course we spent a lot of time together at lectures, lab sessions, and coursework meetups. Paloma was always reliable when working in a group and I could also count on her to help me out if I was having trouble with my own courseworks. She always seemed to have a very clear understanding of the topics covered, and in the rare cases when she didn't she would study the subject until she did, which usually did not take too much time.
Whenever I found the work confusing and needed support, she was usually the first person I'd turn to as she was great at explaining complicated things, and was always willing to help out. I believe that one of the best things about her is how supportive and patient she is, if you don't know something she doesn't make you feel bad but encourages you to come to the answers yourself.
