About Omar
I'm Omar, an architectural technologist with training from the UK who has practical experience managing construction sites and designing buildings. From floor plans and elevations to landscaping, 3D visualization, and portfolio development, I have experience working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. I am aware of the demands of architecture school and how crucial it is to stand out in addition to keeping up. I therefore provide students with both technical and creative support at every level of their academic careers. My objective is to help you become more confident in your concepts, become proficient with industry-standard tools, and create a portfolio that accurately showcases your abilities. I incorporate up-to-date industry knowledge into every lesson because I work as a freelancer. Until you can produce and present work with clarity, depth, and professional quality, I'm here to help, push, and mentor you.

My lessons are designed to help university students in architectural or design-based programs who wish to enhance their technical proficiency, creative thinking, and project execution. I am a freelance Architectural Technologist with training from the UK and practical experience in both design and site work.
My approach to teaching is very individualised. Whether it's concept development, technical drawing, 3D visualisation, or presentation boards, I work with students to identify their strengths and support their weaknesses. Since I think each student learns differently, my method is tailored to meet their needs.
A normal lesson might consist of:
Advice on academic project design choices
Using AutoCAD to draft site plans, elevations, sections, or floor plans
Making exterior and interior renders with Lumion and 3DS Max (V-Ray plugin)
Using Photoshop to improve presentation boards
What makes me unique is that I teach from both the viewpoint of a working professional and someone who has been in their position. I teach more than just software; I teach how to think like an architect, express ideas clearly, and present like a designer.
These courses are perfect for undergraduate architecture and design students who want practical advice and real-world experience to enhance their coursework and professional portfolios.
