About Owen
My journey in architecture began with a fascination for how design shapes human experience and environments. I pursued a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Architectural Technology, acquiring both creative and technical expertise. Over 8 years, I have guided students in translating abstract ideas into structured, innovative design solutions, fostering skill development and creative confidence.
I emphasize a structured yet exploratory teaching approach. Lessons include hands-on design exercises, conceptual discussions, and iterative feedback to help students refine ideas while understanding fundamental principles. I encourage experimentation, critical analysis, and creative problem-solving to cultivate both technical competence and artistic expression.
Outside the classroom, I engage with contemporary architectural research, urban design trends, and sustainable practices, enriching lessons with real-world insights. Seeing students evolve into confident designers capable of independent thought and creative execution is immensely rewarding. My goal is to empower learners to think critically, innovate freely, and develop a lasting passion for architecture.

Architecture lessons become transformative when students understand the interplay between creativity, functionality, and sustainability. I guide learners through spatial design, conceptual modeling, materials, structural principles, and sustainable urban planning. Intermediate learners explore model-making, design iteration, material selection, and visualization techniques to refine analytical and aesthetic judgment. Advanced learners tackle complex projects, urban planning simulations, portfolio development, and advanced presentation strategies, combining problem-solving, technical precision, and innovative creativity. Hands-on exercises, iterative feedback, and project-based learning are integrated to ensure comprehensive skill development.
