About Kavisha
My fascination with architecture began with a curiosity about how buildings influence human experience, social behavior, and environmental interaction. I pursued a B.Arch in Environmental Architecture, gaining a strong foundation in design principles, sustainability, and urban planning. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided learners through the process of developing creative and practical solutions, combining conceptual exploration with technical mastery. I believe effective teaching requires patience, empathy, and responsiveness to each student’s individual learning style. I emphasize process-driven learning, using real-world examples, guided exercises, and iterative design projects to help students develop confidence in their creative decisions. My lessons focus on clarity, critical thinking, and visual communication to strengthen both creativity and technical understanding. Beyond the classroom, I engage with contemporary architecture through research, sustainability studies, and ongoing design exploration. This engagement allows me to bring fresh insights and practical relevance to my lessons. Teaching architecture is deeply rewarding because I witness students transform ideas into coherent, functional designs, gaining both creative expression and problem-solving abilities that serve them in professional contexts and personal growth.
