About Melody
My interest in architecture began with a fascination for spaces, structures, and how design shapes human interaction. This passion led me to earn a B.Arch in Sustainable Architecture and develop expertise in design thinking, modeling, and spatial planning. Over 7 years, I have guided students through structured lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and technical proficiency. I approach teaching with patience, clarity, and adaptability. Lessons include sketches, model-making, conceptual discussions, and real-world examples, helping learners express ideas visually while understanding design logic. I encourage exploration, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving in a supportive environment. Outside teaching, I stay engaged in architecture through sustainable design research, urban studies, and project analysis. Incorporating these insights into lessons enriches learning and provides students with a professional perspective. Helping learners discover their creative strengths and articulate ideas effectively is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Architecture becomes inspiring when students learn how ideas evolve into meaningful spaces. I begin lessons with fundamental principles of design, spatial awareness, composition, and basic drawing techniques. Students explore conceptual development, visual proportion, and practical modeling, enabling them to express creativity while adhering to structural and aesthetic guidelines. Lessons are structured to encourage curiosity, experimentation, and thoughtful planning, giving learners the confidence to approach design with clarity.
Intermediate lessons focus on material selection, functional design, advanced sketching, model building, and spatial problem-solving. Students refine their understanding of composition, sustainability, and conceptual storytelling. By integrating real-world projects and case studies, learners develop an appreciation of how design impacts human experiences, encouraging both creativity and critical thinking.
Advanced lessons cover portfolio development, architectural presentation, design critique, and project organization. Students learn to communicate design ideas effectively, evaluate multiple approaches, and integrate feedback constructively. My teaching balances technical skill-building with creativity, ensuring learners gain both confidence and practical expertise in architecture.
