About Aria
My interest in architecture began with a fascination for built environments, design, and the impact of spaces on human behaviour. I pursued a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Sustainable Design, studying both aesthetic and functional aspects of architecture. Over 8 years, I have taught students at various levels, guiding them to develop their creative and technical skills while fostering confidence in their ideas. I teach with patience, adaptability, and clarity, focusing on both conceptual thinking and practical application. I use sketches, step-by-step exercises, and discussions to ensure students understand how ideas evolve from concept to completion. Many students who initially struggle with spatial representation grow to express their ideas with clarity, creativity, and confidence. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged in architecture through design research, sustainability studies, and project analysis. This experience allows me to bring contemporary examples into lessons, helping students connect classroom learning with real-world applications. Teaching architecture is deeply rewarding as I witness learners discover their creative potential and design confidence.

Architecture becomes inspiring when learners understand how creative ideas transform into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and human-centred spaces. My lessons focus on design principles, spatial reasoning, drawing techniques, material knowledge, model building, and portfolio development. I emphasise structured exploration, encouraging students to balance creativity with technical accuracy and conceptual clarity. Students at different levels receive tailored instruction. Beginners explore foundational sketching, basic proportions, spatial understanding, and concept visualisation. Intermediate learners focus on advanced drawing techniques, design development, model making, and material application. Advanced learners refine project organisation, architectural presentation, portfolio assembly, and narrative expression. Every session integrates practical exercises, discussion, and problem-solving to help learners feel confident in expressing design ideas. Architecture lessons also foster critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. As students develop spatial awareness and design understanding, they gain the confidence to tackle complex projects independently. My goal is to help learners cultivate a strong creative identity while developing disciplined design habits that prepare them for advanced study or professional practice.
