About Wade
My passion for architecture emerged from a fascination with urban spaces and how design shapes human experience. I earned a B.Arch in Urban Design and an M.Arch in Environmental Architecture, gaining expertise in sustainable solutions, innovative design, and spatial problem-solving. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students to develop creative confidence, technical precision, and design literacy while fostering independent thinking and imaginative expression.
I approach teaching architecture through a combination of hands-on projects, conceptual discussions, and iterative critiques. Many learners struggle with translating ideas into coherent designs, so I provide structured support, personalized guidance, and illustrative examples to cultivate clarity and skill. Lessons are customized to each student’s goals, pace, and style, balancing creativity, technical rigor, and professional standards.
Beyond the classroom, I engage in urban design research, sustainability initiatives, and architectural analysis. Teaching architecture is deeply rewarding because I witness learners transform abstract ideas into tangible designs while developing confidence, problem-solving skills, and aesthetic sensibility. Supporting students in becoming innovative, capable, and thoughtful architects is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.

Architecture is most inspiring when students learn how ideas translate into functional, aesthetic, and socially meaningful spaces. My lessons cover design principles, spatial visualization, material studies, sustainable planning, structural understanding, and conceptual presentation. I emphasize creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, helping students explore architectural ideas while grounding them in technical precision. Lessons integrate hands-on exercises, model-making, sketching, and iterative critiques, ensuring learners build confidence and clarity in their design decisions. Each session encourages curiosity, conceptual reasoning, and personal expression, guiding students to articulate their vision while balancing innovation with practical feasibility.
Advanced students engage with urban planning, advanced modeling techniques, adaptive reuse strategies, and portfolio development. I provide structured guidance in design problem-solving, sustainability considerations, presentation skills, and critical evaluation of architectural works. Lessons are tailored to support academic excellence, competitive portfolio preparation, and professional readiness. The approach fosters independent thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of architecture’s impact on communities and environments.
Architecture education also enhances observational skills, conceptual clarity, and emotional intelligence.
