About Nayab
My name is Nayab, and I hold a Master’s degree in Architecture with a strong understanding of architectural design education and student studio requirements. Having worked closely with architecture assignments, design development, and presentation preparation, I am familiar with both the academic expectations and the creative challenges students face at different stages of their studies.
My teaching approach is clear, structured, and student-focused. I guide students through the complete design process, from understanding the brief and developing concepts to refining form, analysis, and final presentations. I place strong emphasis on design logic, analytical thinking, and clear visual communication, ensuring students not only complete their work but also understand and confidently explain their ideas.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s level and goals. I regularly support students using Rhino and Photoshop for modeling, diagrams, layouts, and presentation boards, helping them translate ideas into professional-quality outputs. My experience teaching math and English allows me to explain complex design concepts in a simple, organized, and approachable way, while also helping students improve how they verbally and visually present their projects.

My approach is student-centered, practical, and concept-driven. I focus on helping students understand why design decisions are made, not just how to draw or model them. Lessons are adapted to each student’s level and studio requirements, with an emphasis on clear design thinking, logical analysis, and strong visual communication.
I use a mix of discussion, sketching, reference analysis, and software-based exploration. Tools like Rhino and Photoshop are integrated naturally into the design process to help students develop, test, and present their ideas clearly.
A typical lesson includes:
Review of the brief or assignment – understanding objectives and constraints
Concept development & analysis – site reading, diagrams, precedents, and ideas
Design refinement – spatial logic, form development, and feedback
Presentation guidance – improving drawings, diagrams, layouts, and narratives
Next steps – clear tasks and direction for independent work
Lessons can be focused on design studio projects, software skills, or presentation preparation, depending on the student’s needs.
