About Henry
My interest in architecture developed from an appreciation of how built environments influence human experience. I pursued a B.Arch followed by an M.Arch in Interior Design, learning to integrate creativity, technical knowledge, and practical design skills. Over 7 years, I have taught students to conceptualize, visualize, and execute projects, nurturing both skill development and confidence.
I emphasize clarity, patience, and personalized guidance in teaching. Lessons integrate sketching, model-building, iterative feedback, and conceptual discussions, helping students develop technical mastery and creative expression. I encourage exploration, problem-solving, and independent thought to cultivate confident, capable designers.
Outside teaching, I engage with architectural trends, interior design research, and urban planning studies, integrating real-world insights into lessons. Witnessing students evolve into confident designers capable of independent thought and creative execution is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to empower learners to think critically, innovate, and excel in their design endeavors.

Architecture is most rewarding when students grasp how design principles, functionality, and aesthetics intersect to create meaningful spaces. My lessons cover conceptual design, spatial visualization, materials, construction fundamentals, and visual communication. I emphasize learning by doing, combining theory with practical exercises, iterative sketches, and model-building to help students internalize principles while cultivating creative confidence.
Lesson plans are designed according to skill levels. Beginners learn foundational sketching, proportion exercises, and basic composition to understand spatial concepts. Intermediate learners explore model-making, material selection, design iteration, and presentation skills to refine technical and creative thinking. Advanced learners focus on complex projects, urban space analysis, portfolio development, and advanced visual storytelling, combining problem-solving, technical precision, and innovative expression. Hands-on exercises and constructive feedback are central to each session.
Architecture lessons develop observational skills, design reasoning, and effective communication. Students learn to articulate ideas visually, solve design challenges creatively, and express originality with technical understanding. My goal is to foster confident, thoughtful designers equipped to succeed academically, professionally, and creatively in architecture.
