About Ishaani
My interest in architecture began with a fascination for how spaces influence emotion, movement, and human behavior. I pursued a B.Arch in Architectural Design, where I developed strong foundations in spatial planning, design theory, and visual communication. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students through creative challenges by offering structured feedback and encouragement. I approach teaching with patience and openness, recognizing that creativity develops at different speeds for each learner. I focus on helping students articulate ideas clearly and refine their design process rather than seeking perfection. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with architecture through design research, sketching, and studying contemporary architectural projects. These experiences enrich my lessons and help students connect theory with real-world practice. Teaching architecture is meaningful to me because I witness students discover their creative voice and grow in confidence as designers.

Architecture becomes inspiring when students understand how creative ideas evolve into functional, meaningful spaces. My lessons focus on helping learners develop strong design thinking by combining imagination with structure, proportion, and spatial logic. Students explore concepts such as form, scale, circulation, materiality, and environmental response through guided discussion and visual exploration. Rather than focusing only on final drawings, lessons emphasize the thinking process behind design decisions, helping learners build confidence in expressing ideas clearly.
Beginners start by learning basic sketching, proportion, spatial relationships, and visual communication. Intermediate learners explore conceptual development, site analysis, layout planning, and material selection. Advanced learners refine project presentation, portfolio organization, and narrative explanation of design concepts. Lessons are paced thoughtfully, allowing creativity to grow alongside technical understanding in a supportive environment.
Studying architecture strengthens observation, creativity, and problem-solving ability. Students often become more attentive to their surroundings and more confident expressing ideas visually. My goal is to help learners build a strong design identity while developing disciplined habits that support long-term creative and professional growth.
