About Graham
My interest in architecture began with a fascination for spatial design and the impact of built environments on human experience. I pursued a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Sustainable Architecture to gain comprehensive technical knowledge and design expertise. Over 9 years, I have guided students in developing creative confidence, visual literacy, and practical design skills while fostering analytical and critical thinking.
I focus on individualized, supportive teaching that adapts to students’ strengths, interests, and objectives. Lessons combine hands-on activities, discussions, and project-based learning to cultivate both creativity and technical competence. I encourage exploration, experimentation, and reflective analysis to help learners develop their own design voice.
Outside teaching, I engage with architecture through design research, sustainability studies, and professional practice, which enriches lessons with real-world examples. Witnessing students gain confidence, technical mastery, and creative independence is profoundly rewarding and motivates my dedication to teaching architecture.

Architecture comes alive when students understand the interplay between creativity, technical principles, and functional design. My lessons focus on design thinking, spatial awareness, form development, materials, and sustainable solutions. I integrate sketching, model-building, CAD software, and design critique to help learners express ideas effectively and confidently. Each session combines conceptual discussion, practical exercises, and iterative feedback, ensuring clarity, skill development, and creative engagement.
Lessons are customized for the learner’s level and goals. Beginners explore proportion, perspective, and conceptual ideation. Intermediate learners practice advanced drawing, digital modeling, structural understanding, and material selection. Advanced learners work on comprehensive projects, portfolio development, presentation techniques, and sustainable design strategies. Each session balances technical rigor, creativity, and conceptual clarity.
Architecture lessons develop not only technical skills but also problem-solving, critical thinking, and aesthetic sensitivity. Students learn to analyze spaces, communicate ideas visually, and approach design challenges with confidence and originality.
