About Rhea
My passion for Architecture began with a fascination for how spaces affect human experience. This inspired me to pursue a B.Arch in Sustainable Design, where I studied environmental integration, spatial planning, and innovative construction approaches. Over 8 years of teaching, I have developed a patient and supportive style, helping students navigate the technical and creative challenges of design with confidence and clarity. I emphasize understanding over replication, encouraging students to experiment while also learning the discipline required to communicate design ideas accurately. My lessons combine sketches, conceptual discussions, and guided modeling exercises to ensure each learner finds their unique creative voice. I aim to create an environment where curiosity and innovation flourish alongside technical skill. Outside teaching, I engage with architecture through reading, sustainable design studies, and hands-on project exploration. Bringing these insights into the classroom keeps my lessons relevant and inspiring. Watching students transform their initial ideas into confident, structured designs is immensely rewarding and motivates me to continue supporting their growth.

Architecture becomes deeply engaging when students are encouraged to explore ideas while understanding structure, proportion, and functional design. In my lessons, I guide learners through design thinking, model creation, sketching, 3D visualization, and material understanding using step-by-step instruction. Rather than imposing rigid rules, I help students build a balance between imagination and precision, cultivating both aesthetic awareness and technical competency. Each session fosters creativity, confidence, and clarity, helping students feel empowered to express their ideas visually.
I structure lessons to suit different skill levels. Beginners learn fundamental sketching, perspective drawing, proportion, and conceptual ideation. Intermediate learners explore advanced modeling, spatial reasoning, sustainable material application, and composition techniques. Advanced learners focus on portfolio development, design presentation, detailed planning, and conceptual storytelling. Throughout, I emphasize feedback, guidance, and structured progression so that students feel steady improvement and creative satisfaction.
Architecture lessons help students develop creative thinking, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills applicable beyond design. Many learners find that their visual expression, critical observation, and innovative ideas strengthen as they progress. My goal is to help students build a confident creative identity, capable of producing thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically pleasing architectural solutions.
