About Pooja
My interest in architecture began with a B.Arch in Design and progressed through an M.Arch in Urban Planning, where I explored how thoughtful spaces influence human behavior and the environment. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided students in building technical skills, conceptual clarity, and creative expression. My teaching emphasizes structured mentorship, interactive exercises, and real-world application to ensure learners gain both competence and confidence. I tailor lessons to individual needs, incorporating sketching, modeling, digital tools, and design critique. Encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and reflective practice is central to my philosophy. Patience, constructive feedback, and goal-oriented guidance allow learners to develop steadily while building a confident design voice. Outside teaching, I remain engaged in architectural research, sustainable design studies, and urban planning projects. Bringing these insights into lessons enriches learning and inspiration. Teaching architecture is profoundly rewarding because I witness students develop creative expression, analytical skills, and the ability to approach design challenges with both imagination and practicality.
