About Florina
I am an architect (bachelor and master) and mathematician (bachelor). My unrested curiosity and passion for both led me to pursue mathematics and programming as a second bachelor degree and determined me to continue my academic development in architecture as a Ph. D. student, researching Artificial Intelligence used in Architecture. As an architect, I am dedicated to enveloping technology with a sense of poetry. I especially enjoy the conceptual stage of design while being mindful of optimality, inspired by the mathematics that pervades our surroundings. Through teaching and research, I wish to transfer knowledge from the exciting perspective I have found.

I insist on the conceptual stage of design while being mindful of optimality, inspired by the mathematics that pervades our surroundings. A good idea can be developed using the right tools and knowledge. My expertise is on explaining what makes a concept strong and how it can grow in an architecture project. Both architecture principles (design process, composition, hierarchy, unity, diversity etc) and design techniques are covered, including programs (Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Archicad, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with a special care for parametric design.
