About Hiam
During 20 years of teaching Arabic, I taught adults and teenagers standard Arabic using Al-Kitab, a college-level introductory text. Taught Syrian colloquial using my own notes. Prepared lesson plans, prepared handouts, graded student homework. Helped many of my students to prepare themselves for trips to the Middle East, especially Syria, by introducing them to Arabic traditions and culture. I also taught private classes for over 50 students ages 4-70 in my home. Tutored students in Arabic and Middle Eastern culture. Guided them to prepare for exams and homework.

Taught reading, writing, speaking, listening, and Arabic culture For beginners, intermediate, and advance classes. As a Levantine Arabic Course Developer, worked remotely to write an entire Levantine Arabic language course. Each course consists of 100 lessons, and each lesson teaches a “real-life” conversation to the student.
