About Aimee
My name's Aimee and I'm 18 years old. I'm still navigating my way through life and I find myself constantly looking to help people in my college course. If tutoring is new to a student it is absolutely essential they realise it is also new to me and we will actually be helping each other out! I'm confident in my course and so far I have exceeded expectations from my lecturers and can hopefully help other students exceed them too. I'm extremely chatty and love a good conversation so no awkward moments with me and if there are any problems I'm always happy to help and listen.

I personally learn through talking things through. I believe talking a person through coursework makes all the difference instead of handing someone a piece of paper to do it themselves. I also find it easy to pick out information that may be important to include in things such as mind maps and flashcards. I unfortunately don't have any experience tutoring as work but in college I believe I am extremely helpful towards my classmates. I would teach at a higher level online. I think the perfect length of time for a lesson would be anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.

I've known Aimee since we were in Nursery. Despite still being a student herself, Aimee has greatly progressed in her studies within the field of science within the first two years of college. She has made every effort to show up each day even on the days when she felt the most unmotivated, and has never given up when her confidence was low. I personally have no Chemistry background, but when Aimee explains different concepts to me, it somehow ends up making perfect sense, which I believe is a great quality to be looking for in a tutor.
