About Taylor
I’m an Applied Mathematics student with a strong background in math and currently studying Calculus III. Because I’m still a student myself, I understand how frustrating math can be when something isn’t explained in a way that makes sense. I’ve learned that difficult problems become much easier when they’re broken down into clear, manageable steps. I’m patient, easygoing, and comfortable explaining concepts in different ways until they click. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in their math skills.

My goal is to make math feel less intimidating and more understandable. I like to break problems down step by step, explain why each step works, and show shortcuts when they can make solving problems easier. I adjust the way I explain things depending on how each student learns best.
A typical lesson starts with figuring out what the student is struggling with, working through a few examples together, and then letting them try problems on their own while I help when needed. Since I’m an Applied Mathematics student currently taking Calculus III, I understand what it’s like to learn challenging math and how helpful a clear explanation can be.
I tutor middle through high school students in subjects including basic math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and calculus. I’m patient, easygoing, and want students to feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about getting something wrong.
