About Michael
I have a Ph. D. in math, years of college math teaching experience, and multiple decades of applying math in aerospace engineering, financial services, and other areas such as gamification of call center operations. I have extensive knowledge of applied statistical methods, predictive modeling, and machine learning. I can help you relate math to real world problems.
I will always be sympathetic and understanding. I personally was not a brilliant student of math in my first years of college, but it gradually grew on me. I can do; you can too!

An initial interview will reveal you specific needs, your strengths and weaknesses, and what learning approach will work best for you. Working with your textbook, course outline, and other reference material, I will lay out a teaching approach best suited for you. That approach will include discussing and explaining concepts, working problems together, and showing how to break up larger problems into a sequence of simpler problems.
I have worked in industry to teach software engineers the key elements of math-based systems they are tasked with programming and properly operating. I have several years of college math teaching experience.
