About Samira
Hi, I am glad that you decided to start learning Chinese and I am happy to see you on my page! I have more than 3 years of experience in the education field and teaching foreign languages. Throughout these years, I found that languages play an enormous role in our life. By learning a language, we open a new window into a world, cultures, and people. That is why along with teaching language, I try to expand my knowledge every day. Currently, I am an MA student in Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies at Carleton University, which is located in Ottawa, Canada. I have also obtained an MA degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China. My academic journey gave me an opportunity to gain more knowledge in language teaching, teaching methodologies, and how to let learners love languages more from lesson to lesson. Looking forward to teaching you!
