About Seán
Studying Theoretical Physics and Maths at Maynooth University, Ireland.
I have always had an avid interest in all matters of science from a young age. Took part in all the olympiads my school had to offer (maths, physics, philosophy, chemistry).
As a kid, I could not pay attention during class for the life of me. Hence, I am almost entirely self-thought and can very much relate to the struggles of students failing to grasp certain subjects. Through the process of teaching myself everything from a young age, I realised that the school simply tells what to learn and not why or how (unless you are lucky enough to have a great teacher). Luckily you can pick your teachers (tutors) nowadays.

My teaching method is to first pinpoint the key weak points and then help my students fill in any gap in their understanding.
Since each approach will vary in terms of effectiveness for each individual, I always tailor my lessons to the student.
I am very patient and adjust the pace to ensure my students experience the right amount of challenge for their current "skill level".
I always make sure my students leave with a new/improved approach to studying in a much broader sense. While I also offer lessons on how to learn more effectively in general, I will have my students use several appropriate techniques no matter the subject.
