About Dolly
Hi, I'm Dolly, a baker, baking educator, and bakery business mentor with a passion for helping people discover that baking is far more approachable than they think.
Over the years, I've taught students ranging from complete beginners to aspiring bakery business owners. One thing I've learned is that most people don't struggle because baking is difficult—they struggle because nobody has explained it in a simple, practical way.
My teaching style focuses on understanding rather than memorizing. I believe that when students understand the role of ingredients, techniques, and baking science, they become confident enough to make decisions independently and create consistently successful bakes.
Beyond teaching, I run a bakery that specializes in small-batch, handcrafted baked goods made with real ingredients. This allows me to bring real-world experience into every class, sharing not only baking techniques but also the practical lessons that come from working with customers and producing baked goods professionally.

My approach to teaching baking is simple: baking is a skill, not a talent. Anyone can learn it when it is broken down into clear, manageable steps.
I teach the science behind baking, not just recipes. Understanding why ingredients behave the way they do helps students become confident bakers who can troubleshoot problems, make informed decisions, and eventually create their own variations instead of relying entirely on recipes.
Classes are highly practical, interactive, and designed to build confidence through repetition and understanding. Each lesson combines theory with hands-on application so students know not only what to do, but why they are doing it.
A typical class includes:

Details
My standard fee is ₹1,800 per hour for one-on-one baking lessons.
Each session is tailored to the student's skill level and goals. Classes focus not only on recipes but also on understanding baking techniques, ingredient functions, and troubleshooting skills that help students become confident and independent bakers.
Lessons may include demonstrations, practical guidance, baking science, recipe adaptation, and personalized feedback based on the student's progress.
