About Ella
Hi, my name's Ella, and I am a professional Social Researcher who has worked in the field of public policy research for the last three years. I have first class Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Anthropology and Social Science and have also worked in frontline roles with vulnerable people. I bring my passion for social justice issues and research to support and enthuse others to excel in all things Social Science and social research methods!
I can support you through all elements of your course or syllabus, from understanding concepts and topics and thinking about them critically, to crafting an exemplary essay or piece of coursework. I have years of writing experience both academically and professionally, so can help with structuring your writing and developing your style, and also provide proofreading and editing services. I have previously taught qualitative research methods courses to professionals, so can also help you to understand and practice research methods such as interviews, focus groups and ethnography.
As a tutor, I really enjoy getting to know my students and tailoring my teaching to meet their needs. I am patient and supportive and gain a lot of satisfaction from helping people to build their confidence, whilst challenging them to achieve their full potential. In addition to my experience already mentioned, I have taught English to young adults and seniors abroad, and provided pastoral support to young people on personal and social development programmes in the UK.
