About Stefan
Professional 3D Artist for games, worked for big companies like Microsoft and small indie devs on mobile games covering Characters, Props, Environment pieces and rig/animation. I've taught Game Art at the University of Brighton and Anglia Ruskin University, and at High School level.
Every chance I get at work I do as much rigging or animation as I can especially when I've worked on small indie teams where I wear a lot of hats. The hard part of 3d modeling isn't the software, it's the animation fundamentals. I focus on teaching the software first, then showing you how to use animation fundamentals to bring the level of your anims higher.
My delivery style is focused on demonstrations, feedback and even task setting if that's something that works for you. Get ready, there's a lot to learn and I'm gonna teach you ALL of it.

While I'll always go off from your needs first and exactly what you want to learn and focus on, I will likely generally be going over Maya Animation basics, specific animation exercises and then techniques for high quality animation.
If you're a student that needs help learning the software and improving your overall animation skill, then we'll start with what you already know and go from there.
If you're a professional 3D artist looking to up your character animation or rigging game then we'll look at exactly what you want to learn animation for and start working directly with your models and characters.
If you're a hobbyist that just thinks 3D animation is really cool and you want to know how it works then you're gonna have a great time as we go through making your first animations and you start to see how in reach the world of animation really is.
I primarily cover beginner to intermediate level knowledge based on what you're aiming for, so just hit me up and we'll figure out the details.

Prices are based on the content you'll receive. I'm looking to give detailed and immediately useful demonstrations. I'm happy to discuss work and even some feedback outside of session at no cost, and can also make special arrangements depending on your circumstances after that first session.
The free 30mins will be part making sure we're both set up, part making getting started with demonstrations and teaching so you can see weather you vibe with how I do things. I'm sure you will!
