Originally from the United States, I am a recent graduate from the University of St Andrews. While at St Andrews I studied Sustainable Development and Management. I am now about to begin the next step of my education journey at UCL where I will be pursuing a Masters in Urban Development Planning. In my spare time I love to surf, travel, and read!

With experience in the classroom setting as a teacher's assistant, I have come to find that students thrive when they can take an active role in their learning. When students are empowered, they build a sense of responsibility and become eager for life-long learning.
My lessons will offer such a student-centred approach designed to empower students and encourage critical thinking. Each session will be developed according to each student's needs and goals to provide for test-preparedness and clear growth attainment. Each session will last about an hour dependent upon each student's needs. However, I am more than happy to extend or shorten each session if a student requires.
Most of my experience as a teacher's assistant has been for those in primary grades, assisting across a wide range of subjects from English to science. As a recent graduate from the University of St Andrews, however, I am also highly equipped to assist those in secondary school and higher levels particularly in the environmental sciences.
