About Marina
I have taught Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, Latin, and Classical Civilisation as a school teacher and/or tutor in small groups or one-on-one from 2013. I achieved the improvement of the students’ school performance or their success in exams (preparation for scholarships and school exams, GCSEs and A-Levels). I also teach adults who want to learn classical languages or enhance their knowledge of the Graeco-Roman world. I am very passionate about Classics and I relish the opportunity to impart my knowledge and passion to my students of all ages, adapting to the students' learning needs and aiming at academic excellence and fun learning.

My methodology of teaching is accomodating to the student's learning needs but also demanding. I am adapting to the students' learning needs to achieve the best possible result by stretching them to reach their full potential and strengthen their abilities in order to fully understand the learning objective. I use a wide range of resources, but always adapt each lesson and resource to the individual student(s), since each student learns in different ways and, thus, each lesson needs to be personalised.
