I am a great teacher and always tutored classmates and other students in the community as a volunteer since I was a teenager. I helped students from failing to passing classes to even getting great grades. I helped student upgrade from resource room to mainstream classroom. I was an official Tutor as Adelphi University hired by the university and set up a Manhattan campus learning center. I worked with the assistant dean to help students who were doing poorly or failed to pass and even do great. The assistant dean would tell me who needed assistance and I would offer to help those students. I taught the students study techniques and ways to comprehend the information and how to break down exam questions to be able to narrow down to the correct answer. Many student were able to use these new techniques on their own and did not need to use the learning center anymore!
