About Eliza
I am a classical singer with over 17 years of training and extensive performance experience with leading opera company Victorian Opera. My introduction to music was through Suzuki Voice and Suzuki Piano training. I hold a Bachelor of Music specialising in Classical Voice and am now halfway through my Masters of Opera Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
In addition to my teaching endeavours, I have performed with Victorian Opera in a range of productions including, The Grumpiest Boy in the World, Four Saints in Three Acts, The Magic Pudding, The Cunning Little Vixen, William Tell, Parsifal, and most recently, The Selfish Giant. I recently also worked on a new initiative ‘Baby Bilby Sings,’ engaging children aged 0-5 in the wonderful world of opera.

I work extensively with children, teaching performing arts, singing, piano and music theory. I value the reward of teaching and working with children - I find their energy and development inspiring.
I have experience teaching all ages of children and am driven to nurture their love of music. In fostering this love of music, my lessons incorporate and develop the student’s technique, repertoire, language skills and performance practice. As a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, I have a wealth of music theory, music composition and music analysis knowledge. I have worked in a professional capacity with the school and as an external tutor for their students.
