About Rae
As a Spanish tutor with 10+ years of experience, I am passionate about helping High School and College students achieve their language learning goals. I believe learning should be enjoyable, engaging, and designed around each student's individual needs. By creating personalised lesson plans, I help students learn at their own pace while steadily improving their skills.
My lessons include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and conversational practice. I use simple explanations, practical examples, and interactive learning activities that encourage students to participate actively. This balanced approach helps students develop confidence while building a strong understanding of the language.
One of my unique teaching skills is identifying the learning methods that work best for each student. Some learners prefer visual materials, while others benefit from discussions, repetition, or practical exercises. I combine different techniques to create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.
I encourage students to ask questions freely and learn from every mistake because confidence grows through regular practice. I provide detailed feedback and continuous support to help students overcome challenges while maintaining motivation throughout their learning journey.

My approach to teaching Spanish is centred on motivation, communication, creativity, and time management. I believe that motivated students learn faster and retain more, so I create a positive environment where learners feel encouraged and confident.
Communication is at the core of my methodology; I provide students with opportunities to speak, listen, read, and write Spanish in real-life contexts, helping them use the language naturally. Creativity is an important part of my teaching—I use interactive exercises, storytelling, role-plays, games, and visual aids to make lessons engaging, memorable, and fun.
Time management allows me to structure lessons efficiently, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice without overwhelming students. I also guide learners on organising their practice outside class for consistent improvement. Along with Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar, pronunciation, and language learning strategies.
