About Kriscel Beth
I am a university graduate from the Philippines with a strong command of Tagalog and a passion for helping others learn the language. As a native Filipino speaker, I provide authentic lessons that focus on real-life communication, proper pronunciation, grammar, and everyday expressions.
I am committed to creating a professional, patient, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My approach as a Tagalog tutor is to make learning the language simple, practical, and enjoyable. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable and encouraged, so I create a friendly and supportive environment where they can practice speaking without fear of making mistakes. My goal is to help students develop confidence in using Tagalog in everyday conversations while building a strong foundation in vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and sentence construction.
Teaching Method and Techniques
I use a student-centered approach that adapts to each learner's level, goals, and learning style. Lessons include interactive conversations, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, reading exercises, listening activities, and grammar explained in a simple and easy-to-understand way. I also incorporate real-life situations, role-playing, visual aids, and cultural insights to help students understand not only the language but also how it is naturally used by native speakers.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson begins with a short review of previous topics to reinforce learning. I then introduce new vocabulary, expressions, or grammar points before guiding students through pronunciation and sentence-building activities. Students practice what they have learned through conversations, reading passages, listening exercises, and interactive activities. Every lesson ends with a summary, feedback, and optional practice exercises to strengthen their skills before the next session.
