Hello! My name is Ricardo Van Rooyen. I am a passionate teacher and learner. My main goal and focus is to see my learners grow and succeed in everything they do. I offer lessons in Music, Singing, English, CAT, and Math Lit.

When teaching I like to take different approaches. I would specifically assess a student's needs before choosing how to teach them, but ultimately I would use a collaborative learning style, so that both me and the student work together. I would mainly be able to teach in English, but I can make an exception for Afrikaans students as well. When I teach I like to see students who feel the same passion as me, but I would first work with them to build that passion so that lessons can be more enjoyable. But overall lessons with me will always be enjoyable. My lessons would be aimed for anyone looking to learn music, but I would specifically prefer students between grade 7 - 12 as I am currently studying toward that age group. I look forward to tutoring!
