About Alice
Hello! My name is Alice and I am a recent Fine Art Masters graduate. I am currently available to tutor any time and I don't mind travelling across London. I have lots of experience tutoring and teaching in England and abroad. My area of expertise is in the creative arts subjects (including things like portfolio preparation), but I am also able to teach other subjects that I have experience in including subjects like English, Maths, Science and Design. I am also fully CELTA qualified so I can teach English as a foreign language, IELTS preparation, etc. My school and college subjects and grades reflect the areas I can teach. I have experience teaching all ages, from young children to adults. For the past year I have been working at a secondary school in Bethnal Green, mainly in the art department but also across the school. I have been working one-on-one with students, in particular helping with writing as well as special educational needs. I can also provide a full DBS certificate to work with children.

I was preparing for IELTS exam in order to study masters degree in London as an international student 5 years ago. Having tried English schools and online lessons with not much improvement, I decided to go for private tutoring. I was so glad that I found Alice who had many years of experience in teaching English to non English speakers from various countries. She immediately understood the problems I had in learning and gave me very practical suggestions in order to achieve the grade I needed within limited amount of time.
Alice was an inspiring Tutor to my 10 year old son Aubrey. She taught him Maths, English and Art and I could see leaps in his confidence and ability in the time she was with us.
