About Mimi
I am an enthusiastic year 13 student who enjoys writing essays and helping others. I study English, History and Psychology and have been receiving A*/A grades. I have tutored people I know personally, but am looking to tutor more people. I am offering online classing using google classroom where resources will be available and google hangout/ zoom where face to face tutoring is necessary.

I’m mostly looking to teaching enthusiastic children in primary/ KS3 Looking to develop their English skills. I like to start lessons with a quick quiz to recap what they learned from the previous lesson. If there was anything they struggled with or did not understand, I would recap that topic and break it down. Lessons are focused on specific literary devices/ techniques and students will learn to use these correctly and easily. For those secondary school looking to improve their exam technique, I will guide them in essay writing, offering them writing tips. I will occasionally set essay plan/ writing homework and mark it with them so that they can think about how they could improve whilst I guide them.
