About Muzammil Ahmed

Hello! I am Muzammil Ahmed. If you are reading this, you are likely feeling the pressure of a looming engineering deadline or the frustration of trying to learn SolidWorks on your own. You are not alone. As an Aerospace Engineering major, I have been exactly where you are, staring at a broken 3D assembly at 2:00 AM. I know firsthand that learning computer-aided design is rarely intuitive without the right mentor.

My Professional Background:
My technical expertise is rooted in practical, real-world application. I have extensive, hands-on experience utilizing SolidWorks to design intricate aerospace assemblies, functional mechanical tools, and custom 3D products (such as complex dispenser mechanisms). I don't just know the software; I understand the core physics, mechanics, and design logic that drive industry-standard engineering.

My Philosophy as a Tutor:
While my background is highly technical, my tutoring style is entirely built around empathy and patience. I believe that anyone can master CAD if the concepts are broken down clearly.

When you work with me, you can expect:

A Judgment-Free Zone: No question is too basic. We all start somewhere.

Complete Professionalism: I respect your time, your academic goals, and your deadlines.

Empowerment over Hand-Holding: My ultimate goal is to make myself obsolete by teaching you the engineering logic required to design independently and confidently.

I am not just here to show you where the buttons are; I am here to be your dedicated academic mentor. Let's get your project finished.

Welcome! I am Muzammil Ahmed, and my goal is to make SolidWorks completely accessible and stress-free.

Who the Lessons Are For:

My lessons are designed specifically for university students and engineering majors. Whether you are an absolute beginner wanting to learn from scratch, or an upper-level student stuck on a frustrating, complex design assignment, I am here to be your academic safety net.

What Sets Me Apart:

What makes my tutoring unique is my dual focus. As an Aerospace Engineering major, I offer the patient, relatable support of a peer who understands tight academic deadlines. However, I also bring the technical expertise of someone with hands-on experience designing functional, real-world 3D products (such as custom dispenser mechanisms and intricate aerospace assemblies). I don't just help you pass; I teach you industry-standard CAD techniques.

My Teaching Method & Techniques:

My methodology is strictly hands-on. Rather than making you memorize menus, we use step-by-step, screen-sharing tutorials. I focus heavily on design intent—teaching you the engineering logic behind why we use specific 2D sketches and 3D features, so you build the independence to design confidently on your own.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Depending on your current level, our sessions will take one of two distinct paths:

Path A: The Absolute Beginner Roadmap:
If you are starting from scratch, I have a structured plan to get you up to speed. We begin with interface navigation and basic 2D sketching, progress to fundamental 3D design, and steadily elevate your skills week-by-week until you are fully confident to continue designing on your own.

Path B: Assignment Rescue (For Ongoing Projects)

Review (10 mins): We analyze your prompt or half-finished assembly to find the exact roadblocks.

Core Instruction (30 mins): I demonstrate the correct technique for your specific problem (from basic features to advanced mechanical mates).

Application (20 mins): You apply the techniques on your screen with my real-time feedback, ensuring you leave with tangible progress.

The 1st Free Lesson: We will use this initial time as a strategic consultation to evaluate your current CAD level, chat about your goals or assignments, and create a custom game plan to get your project done.
