About Diya
I recently graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University and have extensive experience using SolidWorks in both academic and industry settings. As a Lead Design Engineer on a competitive aircraft team, I designed full systems from concept to manufacturing-ready models and mentored over 30 students, helping them build strong CAD and design fundamentals. I have also worked at Airbus and Radicon Powerbuild, where I applied CAD and technical drawings in real engineering environments.
I take a structured but approachable approach to teaching, focusing on clarity, efficiency, and real understanding. Students can expect organized sessions, clear explanations, and practical guidance they can apply immediately. My goal is to make sure you feel confident not just using SolidWorks, but actually understanding how to design properly and independently.

I teach SolidWorks through hands-on, project-based sessions where you are actually designing, not just clicking through features. A typical lesson starts with a quick concept and then immediately applies it to a part, assembly, or your own project so it sticks. I focus on clean modeling, creativity, and working efficiently, and I always explain the “why” so you can build confidently on your own.
