About Matt
I am an aerospace engineering student currently attending Cal Poly SLO. I went to high school in the San Diego area where I was an AP student who was a state athlete and in band. Being in all of these extracurriculars, my time management skills and work life balance perform well. I took calculus BC as a sophomore and multivariable calculus the summer after. Physics has always piqued my interest the most, I took AP physics C and electricity and magnetism in high school and am working towards a physics minor at Cal Poly.

Many people process ideas in different ways. Tailoring the wording of concepts to best match the tutee will ensure that the idea sticks with them. I strongly believe in applied science as well, so presenting a variety of situations in which the concept would be used can support the knowledge on the topic. A typical lesson might consist of review of the last tutoring session and then briefing on what was learned in class and what topics need the most work. From there we would dive into the concept in general and hone into the parts that aren't as strong as others. These lessons would be great for anyone in need of a little extra assistance from middle to high school, from algebra to multivariable calculus and linear algebra and physics, whether that be base physics or electricity and magnetism.
