About Lumi
I am an enthusiastic Singing tutor with 10 years of teaching experience dedicated to helping students achieve excellence in music. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals, offering personalised lessons that support both musical and personal growth.
My teaching approach focuses on building confidence while developing strong technical skills. I assess each student's strengths, challenges, and goals before designing a customised lesson plan. This allows students to learn effectively and progress at a pace that suits them.
My classes cover vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, pitch accuracy, rhythm training, tone development, vocal flexibility, diction, and stage performance. Through interactive lessons and practical exercises, students gain the confidence needed to express themselves through music.
Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, Song Interpretation, and Performance Skills. These related subjects help students gain a deeper understanding of music and improve their overall musicianship. I also focus on maintaining healthy vocal habits.
My goal is to help students discover the full potential of their voices while making learning enjoyable and rewarding. Through patience, dedication, and expert support, I help learners achieve lasting success in their musical journeys.

My teaching methodology for Singing combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management to help students develop strong vocal skills and performance confidence. I believe that technical knowledge and practical experience should work together to create successful singers.
I begin by assessing each student's strengths, challenges, and goals. This allows me to create customised lesson plans that support individual progress and long-term development.
Creativity keeps lessons engaging and meaningful. I use vocal exercises, song interpretation, listening activities, and performance simulations to help students apply their learning in practical situations.
My lessons focus on breathing techniques, pitch control, rhythm accuracy, articulation, vocal tone, expression, and stage presence. Students gain valuable skills that improve both their singing ability and confidence.
Understanding and encouragement help create a positive learning atmosphere. I motivate students to overcome challenges and celebrate achievements along the way.
Time management ensures that every lesson is organised and effective. Sessions include warm-ups, technical training, song work, and progress reviews.
Besides Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Wellness, Sight Singing, and Performance Preparation. My objective is to help students become confident performers and skilled musicians.
