About Jaseena
“Science must be used to improve the lives of others”- This quote from the famous Microbiologist Louis Pasteur describes my beliefs the best. I think I have always aspired to pursue a career that shows my passion for science. A studious person can gain knowledge from everywhere and can do better in anywhere and this thought make me more enthusiastic to do my higher studies in Biomedical science from a microbiology background.
My name is Jaseena T, an Indian citizen who was born and raised in Kerala. I have completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, from Sanatana Dharma College, which is one of the reputed government affiliated colleges in kerala. Upon the completion of my bachelor's degree i opted doing Master's in Microbiology from Nehru Arts and Science College. Coimbatore, another reputed college in Tamil Nadu.
I completed 2 add-on courses in “organic farming for sustainable agriculture development “and ‘Cell Culture Technologies’ in 2022. A team work under my leadership could achieve second prize in RICERCA- National Online Project Presentation Competition for the paper ' Exploration of Prodigiosin producing Rhizosphere bacteria Serratia marcescens isolated from the paddy fields of kuttanadu for natural and organic agricultural practices”.
I am eagerly waiting and excited to the most to embark on the next stage of my life, which is gaining a career that I believe I will thoroughly enjoy, will challenge me and hopefully gain immensely from my contributions.

I realized Biology was the science i found most interesting. A complex subject requires a wealth of knowledge. I have a passion for studying organisms and the anatomy of our bodies. The first stepping stone in full filling my curiosity about biology came true when I enrolled for Bachelor of science programme in microbiology. I acquired 3 years of laboratory experience in Microbiology, Biotechnology and Organic Chemistry. Throughout the academic life, I gained vivid knowledge in various fields of microbiology, biotechnology and chemistry which includes Clinical, Genetic, Biotechnology, Food, Dairy, Agricultural, Environmental, Industrial Microbiology, Taxonomy, Morphology, and Physiology of Microorganisms, Fermentation Technology, Tissue Culture, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Biomolecules, Different methods in Biochemistry, Metabolism. In addition to this, I gained a clear knowledge in practical fields in both Microbiology which includes Isolation and enumeration, Identification of common bacterial pathogens, RPR Test, ASO, and RA latex agglutination test, Antibiotic sensitivity test by Kirby Bauer method, Production of wine from grapes, Qualitative analysis of amino acids and carbohydrates and quantitative analysis of biomolecules, urine analysis and haematology, Clinical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The infinite potential of the life sciences and the opportunity for world-changing breakthroughs is exciting and compelling to me.My curiosity in science, especially in biology never revoked.
