About Millard
Methodical teaching defines my approach to language instruction. I am a patient guide for students who want to improve their French skills.
Having taught 145 students over 13 years, I understand the common hurdles of language acquisition. My curriculum covers accent and intonation, grammar, and writing skills to ensure total fluency. Sessions also include verb conjugation, idioms and expressions, and interview preparation.
I hold a Master of Music in Vocal Studies from the Curtis Institute of Music which helps me teach language rhythm. Your progress is my priority. Results remain the constant focus of our partnership.

We spend a lot of time on correct pronunciation and natural phrasing because that is how you communicate effectively. You will receive weekly conversation recordings reviewed together to track how your speaking skills evolve over time.
I focus on making the complex rules of French grammar feel manageable and straightforward for every student I work with. We maintain a steady pace so you never feel overwhelmed by the material. This structured environment allows for deep comprehension of the language.
You will find that these methods lead to genuine comfort in speaking and writing. Language learning is a long journey.
