Lessons will be tailored for the subject and for student's learning style.
- Initial lessons will introduce the subject briefly to ensure student has a base level of understanding.
- Followed by teaching on how to answer questions, with additional tips and hints.
- Once a foundation has been laid out, students will have the opportunity to practice in real time, and will be provided with instantaneous feedback and future advice.
Lessons are flexible to the student's preference. If a student wants more base understanding before practicing, then interactive sessions to help introduce new topics and consolidate this information will be taught. Similarly, if a student feels they have enough base content, then lessons can have the majority as practice. Often, this is the case for most of my students who wish to practice for medicine interviews, as often practicing regularly provides them with the confidence to succeed in future interviews.
Lesson times range from 1-2hours. Longer lessons will include a small break.
Currently offering tutoring in UCAT, personal statement guidance, UCAS preparation and medical school interview preparation.
I have been tutoring for the past 4 years, and also mentoring those from widening participation backgrounds, about UCAS preparation including UCAT and BMAT preparation and interview practice.

Perfect! Shiromi helped me set a good foundation with my medical knowledge and built on it as we went on. She also worked with me on developing my answers and giving feedback that improved the quality of my answers overall. Her lessons have a good structure and I feel that I am able to respond to interview questions much more confidently thanks to her lessons.
