About Scott
Turntables Change Lives. It's more than my motto—it's my mission.
I'm a college professor, lifelong DJ, music producer, and founder of a youth-focused nonprofit that uses music to inspire creativity, confidence, and opportunity. I've watched beginners become performers and passion projects become careers.
My classes are energetic, hands-on, and rooted in real-world experience. You'll work on professional gear, make mistakes, ask questions, laugh a little, and leave with skills you can actually use. No gatekeeping. No ego. Just practical knowledge and genuine mentorship.

My teaching philosophy is simple: DJs aren't made by watching—they're made by doing. Every lesson is built around hands-on experience with professional turntables and controllers, real mixing techniques, live performance skills, and practical exercises that build confidence fast.
But we don't stop at the music. We'll cover branding, marketing, gear selection, event preparation, and the business strategies that can turn a passion into a profession. My students don't just learn how to DJ—they learn how to create unforgettable experiences and build a lasting career.
