About Hasanpreet
I am currently a Bachelor of Oral Health student at the University of Adelaide with a strong interest and background in English Literature and literacy. Throughout my own studies, I have developed strong skills in reading, writing, and critical analysis, and I understand how important these skills are for success across all subjects.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping students build confidence and overcome challenges in English. I find it rewarding to break down difficult concepts into simpler steps and support students as they improve their skills and start to believe in their own abilities. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged, capable, and motivated to achieve their best.

My tutoring approach is student-centered, structured, and supportive, with a focus on building both confidence and academic skills in English and literacy. I aim to make learning clear and accessible by breaking concepts down step-by-step and then guiding students.
I use a range of teaching strategies including explicit instruction, guided practice, and structured frameworks. Lessons are tailored to each student’s ability level, learning style, and school requirements, with an emphasis on improving sentence structure, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and essay writing skills.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, allowing time for revision, introduction of new concepts, and targeted skill development.
I am currently a f Oral Health student at the University of Adelaide, with a strong background in English Literature and academic writing. I provide tutoring for students from primary years to Year 12, supporting early literacy through to senior English Literature and exam preparation.
