About Alicia
I have spent 20 years working with young children, predominantly in early childhood and primary school. I love the process of learning not only for myself, but for the children I work with. Watching them grow as learners and as individuals is a privilege, and I will never get tired of it. Teaching children at times is loud and messy, whilst also vibrant, calm and focused. Learning can be challenging and I love giving students, the strategies to work with for them to achieve, and become independent learners.

This will be my first time tutoring although I have been working in schools for 15 years. I can specifically target my lessons for individual learning needs. I am available to support primary or secondary students, in order to build reading skills, comprehension and expand writing capabilities.
