About Bevon
My name is Bevon Wambura and I am a passionate Actuarial Science graduate with a strong background in statistics, probability, financial mathematics and data analysis. I have always been deeply interested in understanding how numbers explain risk, trends and real-world decisions.
Through my academic journey, I developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which I now use to help students simplify complex mathematical and statistical concepts. I understand that subjects like statistics and actuarial mathematics can feel overwhelming, but with the right guidance and structured learning approach, they become manageable and even enjoyable.
At Bevon, I focus on patience, clarity and results. I am detail-oriented, hardworking and committed to helping students build confidence in their quantitative abilities. My goal is not just to teach formulas but to help students truly understand concepts so they can apply them independently.
I am friendly, approachable, and dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.

At Bevon, I believe that understanding comes before memorizing. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex actuarial science, statistics and probability concepts into simple, structured and practical steps. I ensure that every student builds a strong foundation before moving to advanced topics.
I use a step-by-step problem-solving method, combining theory with real exam-style questions and real-world applications. I encourage interactive learning where students ask questions freely and actively participate. I also use practical examples, past papers, and guided exercises to strengthen analytical thinking and confidence.
My goal is not just to help students pass exams, but to help them truly understand data analysis, statistical modeling, risk assessment, and quantitative reasoning.
A standard lesson runs between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student's needs. This allows enough time to review concepts, practice problems and clarify any difficulties without rushing.
I am a graduate in Actuarial Science with strong expertise in statistics, probability, financial mathematics and data analysis. My academic background has equipped me with deep quantitative skills and I have experience guiding students through assignments, exam preparation and concept mastery.
