About Paul
Hi, I'm Paul! I graduated with a BA in Actuarial Mathematics and a minor in Mathematics in 2019 from Wayne State University. I have been helping students with their homework since as early as I can remember. I have always been that "go-to" guy who helped people with their homework. Whether it was in a tutor setting in high school or my advanced Statistics classes in college. I feel confident that I will provide a relaxed, yet productive environment for growth.

I consider math a form of language. To learn and understand any language, like with most things, practice is your most valuable tool. Revisiting topics and reinforcing good learning habits is the key to improving.
I like to lead a focused session on whatever particular struggles the student has. We typically go over recent homework, and discuss what struggles they have when completing it. If they are unsure of exactly where they struggle, we will discover as we go through the homework. During exam season, we would go over effective studying strategies as well as reviewing study guides. I can also provide additional practice problems, hopefully portraying topics in a different perspective.
