About Mary
I am an actor, educator, and art therapist in Chicago, IL. I have a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Millikin University and have been teaching private art lessons for the last four years. Individually, I have sold a number of pieces both privately and on Etsy. Art has always been a safe place for me and I am excited to show others how healing it can be.

It's time to get creative! Through gaining a knowledge of your individual goals, I craft an art curriculum just for you.
We will start with drawing basics and the understanding of shapes and perspective.
To build on this foundation, we will go through an extensive look at color theory and how it informs each piece.
From there, you will be on your way to creating your own art pieces with confidence!
What you will gain:
1. A stronger sense of observation: creation is all around us. You will learn to capture.
2. Confidence in the creative process: No more shying away from using new materials.
3. A knowledge of different art mediums: You will be able to test out different materials and be able to decide which ones you prefer to use.
