About Maya
Hello everyone, and welcome
My name is Maya and I’ll be your English teacher. I’m passionate about helping students build their confidence and improve their English in a friendly, supportive, and interactive environment.
My lessons are designed to be engaging, practical, and enjoyable. I encourage everyone to participate, ask questions, and learn from mistakes, because making mistakes is a natural and important part of learning a new language.

Each lesson is designed to be interactive, communicative, and learner-centred, with a focus on building students’ confidence and practical English skills.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up activity to review previous learning and introduce the day’s topic. This is followed by the presentation of new language, including vocabulary, grammar, or functional expressions, using clear explanations and real-life examples.
Students then take part in guided practice through a variety of activities such as pair work, group discussions, role-plays, reading, listening, and writing tasks. These activities encourage active participation and provide opportunities to use the target language in meaningful contexts.
Throughout the lesson, students receive constructive feedback and error correction to support their progress. The lesson concludes with a review of the key learning points, an opportunity for questions, and, where appropriate, homework or independent practice to reinforce the language covered.
Lessons are adapted to meet the needs, abilities, and goals of the learners, ensuring a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
