About Pearl
I am a professional actor that graduated with a First Class Honours in Drama and Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway University of London. I have over 3 years of industry experience in film and theatre both in Singapore and in England. This has given me a unique insight into the industry from an international perspective.
Seeing my students develop their actor's craft, learn the value of play, gain confidence and hone their imagination gives such value and meaning to what I do.

All classes will be tailored to meet the needs of the individual. I would spend time getting to know each student, their likes and dislikes, their personalities, so I can create safe and supporting environment.
However, as a general guideline to what a typical lesson might look like:
ACTING:
We will begin with phyiscal and vocal warmups and drama activities. We will then move on to a monologue/duologue. This includes script analysis, movement work, character work etc.
Suitable for audition prep, general acting improvements, coaching for a character/scene.
PUBLIC SPEAKING:
We will begin with a more extensive vocal warm up followed by some exercises to work the brain such as a short debate. We will then go on to excerpts of story telling or long public speeches. Students might be given the opportunity to write their own speech.
We will look at volume, articulation, pace, body language etc
